I (Richard Grubbs) raise all the blueticks and Kara, my wife, raises the Bloodhounds. We are a family owned and operated kennel. Coty and Gabby help with the daily kennel operation as well. Gabby gets all the pups ready with people training. Coty does the roll cage training and lead training.

We strive on getting the best bloodlines and maintaining a better breed of Bluetick for the purpose of being a family member or a hunting companion.

A special thanks to Bluetick 1 Kennel, Ray Mathews, for all his help in getting us started with the Bluetick breed. I have raised dogs most of my 55 years on earth, and have found only a few friends as loyal as a good dog. Your dog will please you more the closer you get to them. That's the kind of dog I try and raise. A true friend and companion that will not desert you and will always be there for you - 24-7. They will learn from you, most of all, will please you the sooner you can get into their soul. They must be treated like a family member before being released into the woods to do their task. It has always been my belief that a good dog is like a good woman; treat her right and you can get anything from her, treat her wrong and you will have hell to pay! I am lucky. I have both, a good woman (Kara) and a whole pack of good dogs!
